1) Let's start with the book, page 8. Read the text.
Now, go to page 9 exercise 6 a) Underline examples of simple past verbs in the text on page 8. Then, complete the rule.

2) Now, complete exercise b). You have a list of verbs at the end of the book. Chech this exercise with the list of verbs.

3) Look at exercise c). Write questions for the answers. They are about the text on exercise 8.
Pay attention to the example:
Why did millions of people go.... = WHY+DID+PRONOUN + INFINITIVE

4) Continue with exercise d). Use the past simple and complete the story.
